Abstract:
Cement is an important binding material and is widely used in physical construction in
the construction world. The definition of recycled aggregate according to the ACI
Education Bulletin EI-07 (2007) is an aggregate obtained from damaged concrete,
whose reinforcement is removed and destroyed in specific sizes and gradations. Curing
in general as a concrete treatment, which aims to repair the concrete so it is not faster
than air, or to protect the moisture and temperature of the concrete, as soon as the
concrete finishing process is complete. This research was conducted by using recycled
concrete as a substitute for coarse aggregate, and adding cement content as well as
variations in making concrete. Variations in cement content are 379.63 kg / m3 and
429.63 kg / m3, Recycled concrete variation as a substitute with an amount of 25% of
the amount of coarse aggregate and Curing variations consisting of soaked and not
soaked. The results showed a cement content of 429.63 kg / m3 had a greater concrete
compressive strength with the most optimal compressive strength value of 30 MPa,
while the results of the specimens without recycled aggregate concrete aggregate with
optimal results of 30 MPa. And the results of concrete with immersion have a higher
concrete compressive strength with the most optimal compressive strength values in
this study obtained in BD4R variations of 30 MPa.
