STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS OF LEARNING SPEAKING BY USING ZOOM CLOUD MEETING APPLICATION OF THIRD GRADE IN SMAN 3 MAKASSAR

Abstract

This research aims to find out students' perceptions about learning speaking by using the zoom cloud meeting application in SMAN 3 Makassar. This research is quantitative design used two instruments questionnaires and interviews with 20 questions for questionnaires and interviews. The answers from the questionnaires used a scale of 1 to 4. The research was carried with a research time of one week. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation. The data were analyzed by using SPSS and google form. The results showed that students agreed that zoom cloud meeting helps them in learning speaking in SMAN 3 Makassar, This is evidenced by the students recognition that zoom cloud meeting or online learning provides flexible space so that students' minds are more open and comfortable while the learning process is ongoing. Thus, it can be concluded that the teaching and learning process through zoom cloud meeting at SMAN 3 Makassar shows that students agree that Zoom Cloud Meeting is effective and learning to talk using cloud meeting zoom helps them.
