COMIC BOOK AS TEACHING MEDIA IN WRITING DESCRIPTIVE TEXT AT SEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SMPN 35 MAKASSAR

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the students increase in writing desctiptive text by using comic. This research was used Pre-exprimental method with 1 class pretest and post-test. This research was used total sampling. The insrument of this research is writing test. The research sample is students class VII.1 the academic year 2017-2018. The total sample of this research was 30 students of class VII.1 of SMPN 35 Makassar. The results of this study indicated that the t-test value is higher than the t-table (21.31≥2.045). Based on the resuls of data analysis show the difference. Therefore, it can be concluded that the students ability in writing descriptive text at the seventh grade of SMPN 35 Makassar increased by using comic book
