PENGGUNAAN FLY ASH COKLAT SEBAGAI PENGGANTI FILLER PADA LAPISAN ASPAL AC-WC

Abstract

In this case I chose brown fly ash waste instead of filler. In this research, the examination method of material characteristics includes examination of coarse aggregate, fine agregt, asphalt and cement filler test and fly ash brown filler. The design of briquette making is done two stages, that is making normal briquettes without fly ash chocolate and briquette making by replacing filler with 100% fly ash chocolate. The result of this research shows that KAO value of AC-WC mixture with rock ash filler is 6,5%. For characteristic result of AC-WC mixture with fly ash brown filler got density value, VFB, stability and marshall coefficient decreased, while for VIM and VMA value increased. The residual marshall stability value of AC-WC mixture with brown filler fly ash variation decreased by 2.8% from the residual marshal stability value in AC-WC mixture with cement filler.
