Abstract:
This study aims to determine the level of ability and achievement studentsimprovement when usings Facebook application in English lesson of academicyear2016-2017. The results of this study hopes it can be able to provide benefitsforstudents in improving English achievement, also help the teachers to be better. This research used experimental method. Population’s researchbythestudents of SMA Negeri 4 Polewali Mandar, in academic year 2016-2017. Thesampleby students of X was selected randomly with totaly people, 14. Data collectedbyusingtest (Pre-Test and Post-Test). The results of data assessment and discuss obtained fromresearchersinSMANegeri 4 Polewali Mandar is an increase of the students achievement duringusedFacebook. It can be seen from the data collected where the score of Meanvaluesin Pre-Test (9.5) and Post-Test (13). The result of the T-test is (2,160) receivedbecause of the T-Test table (6,86 > 2,160).
