Abstract:
In the current era of globalization, with all the convenience of information
and technological developments. certainly encourage countries to build bilateral
relations with other countries in order to fulfill their national goals. By looking at
the potential of palm oil in Indonesia and Malaysia as well as the existing palm
oil problems. Indonesia and Malaysia then initiated the Council of Palm Oil
Producing Countries (CPOPC). The research method used in this study is a
qualitative method. The data collection technique is to collect data through
literature study, namely by collecting data through archives of books, journals
about which contain opinions or theories related to the discussion. The author
uses the concept of International Cooperation.
As for some of the Indonesia-Malaysia collaboration efforts through CPOPC
in encouraging sustainable palm oil, namely, through reducing efforts,
disseminating public information by publishing articles, and trying to promote
sustainable palm oil by making a Proposed Policy on the Global Framework of
Principles for Sustainable Palm Oil (E+POP) ), increasing the implementation of
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and holding a Business and Smallholders
