Abstract:
This research aimed to know students’ skill in rewriting narrative
text of animation film at class VIII-A SMP Negeri 10 Makassar.
In this research used pre-experimental design with one class pretest and post-test design in 2016/2017 academic year. The sampel were
25 students from the total population 350 students.
The result of the research showed that the use of animation film has
positive effect to students’ skill in rewriting after comparing the result of
pre-test (47%) and post-test (77,72%). The research was got
improvement 62%. The writer was able to apply animation film in
increasing students’ writing skill to make the teaching process effective
and it also helped students improve their writing skill at SMP Negeri 10
Makassar.
