dc.description.abstract This research aims to find out the characteristic signs of narcissistic personality disorder and focused on described the effects of narcissistic personality disorder experienced by Stephanie Conway as the main character in the Senior Year movie script. The main theory of this study was Semiotisc by Charles Sanders Peirce. The primary data sources used in this study was from Senior Year movie script that written by Andrew Knauer, Arthur Pielli and Brandon Scott Jones. This study used descriptive qualitative analysis. The resulted of this study showed that the main character in the Senior Year movie script had a category of five characteristic signs of narcissistic personality disorder consist of qualisign, argument, theme, dicent sign or dicisign and index. The dominant characteristic signs of narcissistic personality disorder experienced by Stephanie Conway was qualisign. Then, there were fifteen effects of narcissistic personality disorder experienced by Stephanie and the people around Stephanie. en_US
