Abstract:
Rural development is rural-based development by prioritizing the empowerment of available local potential. Rural
economic development can be achieved through community empowerment to increase productivity and diversity of rural
businesses, provide facilities and means to support the rural economy, build and strengthen institutions that support
production and marketing chains, and optimize village resources and potential as the basis for rural economic growth. This
activity aims to increase the income of micro and small business actors in Bulo Village, Panca Rijang District, Sidrap
Regency through empowering rural local resources. The implementation method is in the form of socialization activities,
assistance and guidance in the production process, finance, human resources, marketing and technology. The model for
implementing activities is in the form of workshops, seminars and training. The result of this activity is a change in the
mindset of micro and small business actors in managing businesses based on empowering rural local resources, both natural
and human resources so that they can improve the welfare of rural communities and the independence of Bulo Village and
ensure the sustainability of micro and small businesses.
