Abstract:
The objective of this research is to describe how contribute on sapplying
the social project in learning English vocabulary in Lakkang Island.
This research used qualitative research with a case study method. This
research subjects were students involved in the activity of Social projects and
volunteers. While object of this research is a contribution the implementation of
the social project in learning English vocabulary. This research data is collected
through interviews, observations, and documentation. The collected data is
analyzed qualitatively with using interactive analysis methods.
The results of this research showed that the implementation of the social
project in teaching vocabulary in Lakkang Island contributed to the increasing of
vocabulary of young learners. This is evidenced by the indicator in the form of
attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction are high and positive during
learning.
