Analysis of Participatory Budget Against Budgetary Slack at

Budgetary Slack is a process by which lower budget estimates and higher budget
realizations make it easier to achieve budget targets. The purpose of this study was to
determine and analyze participatory budgeting on budgetary slack at the Makassar City
DPRD.
The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, the data collection method
used is a questionnaire, the sample uses a saturated sampling method. Data analysis with
simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 26.0 software for windows.
The results showed that participatory budgeting had a positive and significant effect on
budgetary slack in the Makassar City DPRD
