Abstract:
The interaction between dynamic Indonesian law and local wisdom has resulted in a wide
variety of applicable legal rules. One example of this dynamic is reflected in the regulation of livestock.
This aims to protect animal resources and improve the quality of food that is safe, healthy, whole and halal,
as well as improve the health status of the community, animals and the environment, as well as provide
services and industrial raw materials. In addition, the regulation also aims to expand business and
employment opportunities and improve people's welfare. Therefore, the government's role in regulation
related to livestock, especially the Association of Dairy Farmers, should not be ignored. This association is
a logical way to carry out policies related to the obligations and rights of dairy farmers. Overall, the duties
and functions of this Association are to provide protection through the issuance of regulations in the form
of laws and regulations.
