Abstract:
Implementation of Agricultural Management Information Systems aims to increase efficiency
and productivity in rice farming. This study explains the importance of implementing an
effective information system in managing important aspects of rice farming. The methods used
in this study include literature studies, observations, and interviews with farmers and experts
in the agricultural sector. In this study, an agricultural management information system was
designed and implemented which included several important modules such as planting
planning, land management, irrigation management, financial management, and plant growth
monitoring. This system allows farmers to manage important aspects of rice farming in an
integrated manner, improve operational efficiency, and maximize productivity. With an
agricultural management information system, farmers can easily access the latest information
on weather conditions, the latest cultivation techniques, and pest and disease management. In
addition, this system also provides data analysis capabilities to assist farmers in making better
decisions, such as proper fertilization scheduling, effective disease control, and increased
resource use efficiency. Through the implementation of an agricultural management
information system, it is hoped that there will be an increase in efficiency and productivity in
rice farming. Farmers can reduce production costs, optimize resource use, and improve crop
quality. In addition, this system also has the potential to increase market access for farmers,
thereby increasing income and increasing the welfare of farmers as a whole.
