Utilization of smart sensor applications for monitoring vegetable crops in greenhouses can
provide convenience in monitoring environmental conditions in greenhouses, improve
productivity and quality of vegetable crops, and reduce the efficient use of resources. Smart
sensor applications are systems consisting of multiple sensors that can measure environmental
parameters such as temperature, humidity, light, and soil quality. The data generated by the
sensor can then be transmitted to a monitoring application on a computer or mobile device. By
using a smart sensor application, farmers can automatically monitor temperature, humidity
and light intensity in the greenhouse without having to go to the greenhouse. Sensor apps can
also help farmers automate watering, measure water levels, and monitor how long it takes for
plants to grow. Using sensor applications can make it easier for farmers to monitor crops for
pests and diseases, as well as how long it takes to harvest vegetables in Greenhouses. |
