Abstract:
The aim of this research is to find out whether there is significant
improvement in students‟ speaking skill by using Daily Vlog.
This research used pre-experimental research method. The population of
this research was the second grade students of IPA 4 SMAN 1 Enrekang in
academic year 2022/2023. The number of the sample were 23 students. The
researcher collected the data by giving pre-test, treatment, and post-test. The data
of this research was analyzed by SPSS 21 version.
The researcher concludes that there is significant improvement in students‟
speaking skill by using Daily Vlog. It was supported by the results of mean score
in pre-test and post-test. The mean score in pre-test was 44,26, while in post-test
was 78,26. The significance value in this research is 0.000, which is smaller
than0.05. It shows that the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null
hypothesis is rejected. This means that there is significant improvement in
students‟ speaking skill by using Daily Vlog.
